Carrying Limits
You can carry two daggers/shortswords/pistols or one rifle/longsword or larger for each point of BODY you have.
For instance, a Samurai with Body 4 could carry two shortswords, a baseball bat, a katana, and a claymore. A gunslinger with Body 3 could carry a revolver, an energy pistol, a wrench, a machine pistol, and a shotgun, OR a sniper rifle, an assault rifle, and a grenade launcher.
Small items, such as medical supplies, don't count against carrying totals, but some armor and heavy items do:
Ballistic Mesh & Turrets each count as one point worth of BOD for carrying purposes.
Powered Armor counts as two points of BOD.
Switching Weapons
IMPORTANT!
You need to have a different gun physrep (with attached or accompanying tag) for each firearm in your possession, and a different appropriately sized boffer weapon (with attached or accompanying tag) for each melee weapon in your possession, provided the game's supplies have that many boffers to spare. If you have more than one melee weapon in game but have only one physrep, you must call “Switching weapons 1, switching weapons 2, switching weapons 3” when changing the presently equipped weapon for another.
When switching weapons in combat- even if each of them does have a phys rep- you must call “Switching weapons 1, switching weapons 2, switching weapons 3”, especially if switching between a melee weapon and a firearm.
